We are proudly an academic school, and we are delighted with the consistently excellent A level results achieved by our students. |
In 2026, a total of 94% of grades were awarded at A*-B, marking the highest performance in a non-pandemic year since 2013. Of these, 70% were A* or A grades, including 27% at A*. Three quarters of students achieved AAB or better, with nearly two-thirds attaining AAA or above and 57% securing at least one A* grade.
These strong A level results allow many of our students to meet their aspirations for their chosen pathway beyond school. The university degrees and destinations of our students reflect the high levels of achievement and broad interests of our sixth form students. For a record breaking fifth year in a row over 10% of students earned places at the universities of Cambridge or Oxford.
